Little Friends Montessori School was founded in 1995 by Keelitha and Gamani Jayaweera who are residents of Davis. They established their first Montessori school in Sacramento in 1990. Keelitha has a M.S. and Montessori credentials and Gamani has a Ph. D. from UC Davis. Keelitha has taught in several schools in Davis and in Bay area. With their experience and background they decided to start their own school because of their love for education and children. Gamani is a member of the Rotary Club of Davis.

Little Friends Montessori school enrolls children of ages 2 to 6 years. The school is focused on providing a (1) caring & nurturing environment and (2) stimulating & structured program. The safe, supervised & stable environment at Little Friends promotes social, emotional, physical and intellectual development of your child. The school program consists of (1) Montessori curriculum and (2) subsidiary programs. The subsidiary programs include field trips, science & cooking projects, music, art & crafts and more. Clean & neat facility and shady & secure playground makes Little Friends an attractive facility for your child.
