   HISTORY:
  • Sustained by the area's natural bounty, the Patwun Indians were the earliest known inhabitants. The mid-1800's brought livestock producers, agricultarists, and early settlers like Jerome and Mary Davis. Davisville, as it was originally known, officially became the City of Davis on March 28, 1917.
